Guest arrives at the point of sale with a Reusables container.

  1. To scan the container ID, prompt the guest to scan the QR tag on the container on the front camera of the Reusables Checkout Device. If a guest ordered more than one container, scan all the containers one by one. You will see the containers populated at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Prompt the guest to tap their credit or debit card on the terminal (Either the white square type reader or the large black pin pad style reader. ) Note: the Reusables Checkout Device may prompt some debit cards to be inserted                   

                    

  1. You’re done! You should see a green checkmark on screen, a "Checkout Successful!" message on the top and you will hear an audible success sound. This indicates the guest and container are now linked and you can let them leave.

  2. Optional: If there is no phone number on file for a guest a prompt will appear on screen - ask guests if they would like to receive SMS return reminders and direct them to enter their phone number.
